Don't read too much into the word that I used - I could have said the opposing lane or something else. I just call it the wrong side of the road.
I'm disappointed - aren't you supposed to tell me I'm a menace on the road and to hand back my license? That seems to be how a lot of discussions end in here.
And I started my reply with "No,..."
You've turned it arse about face - why would I not signal to change lanes if I'm required to signal to change lanes (apart from when the signal would cause confusion to other road users of course)? I'm really sorry that you can't understand what I'm saying. I don't see how I can clarify it any further.
Would you like to explain your interpretation of what I was taught on my test? Just to stop me flying round the roads everywhere and crashing.
That's okay, I don't mind if you think that.
Very good - I still can't answer the question without knowing about the normal direction of traffic in these lanes, which one I'm in and where this parked car is. I realise it's tricky, and I've used one of those difficult words again.
