Now if I remember correctly you drive a godwawful Seicento. Woudl you care to compare the pollution emitted by your vehicle:
0-60 13.8 seconds, 33.8 mpg (combined)
0-60 11.5 seconds, 38 mpg (combined)
And tell me, based on mpg alone, which vehicle should be taken off the road? Because I regard the mpg of your car to be apalling for something that is tiny, cramped and fitted out to Eastern European poverty spec.

Greater speed has greater momentum as well, and most large 4x4s are considerably slower than smaller vehicles. Besides which it's not momentum that is the issue, it is kinetic energy and kinetic energy is proportional to the mbutt (linear) and to the velocity squared (exponential). Hence a faster vehicle is, if we believed this load of old malarkey, much more dangerous than a slower one.
In fact the bollocks that you are spouting about "danger" is bollocks because if the vehicle is driven correctly it presents no danger to anyone.
