Saturday's plonker 5350
Well, it was a genuine Saab exhaust, on minimum movement to the rubbers, with factory height brand new springs with original length shock absorbers. The fact that the car was 20 years old...

I don't tend to imagine the worst when crawling under the car re-hooking the exhaust back up. It tends to get expensive.

As it happens I was too busy putting the exhaust back on, and getting back the office to waste the time walking over with a laser aligned digital measure the get th exact height and weight and width, or perform the chemical analysis of the materials. It was a rough by eye measure of the height of them.

As it happens, at least one of the sites has since since removed them and replaced them with lower tarmac ones with a wider base, I haven't been to the Halfords recently as it is near work rather than home, and I use the home one more, and at the time, when I reported the possible damage to customer service and asked to use a telephone (left mobile at home) to call the AA, the Customer Service person said "oh no, not again, get 3 estimates for the damage". So it looks like I wasn't the only one to be affected, and others must have come off much worse. -- "Sorry Sir, the meatballs are Orf" The poster formerly known as Skodapilot.

I got completely lost
I went to the kit car show today, and it was great! There were a few Ferrari replica's, a really nice mini replica, a mini which was made into a monstertruck ROFL...
