MOT Question 1440I'm sure it's the point, at least. Well, that's why I think I'm right. Since the DVLA could not possibly know whether you've repaired your car or not, I see no reason for the...
Also like the THINK! post earlier, the turning back of the clocks now returns us to the infinitely more irritating phenomenon of the London driver (and around the country I guess but in less great proportions) of not using dipped headlamps at night, like normal people do, but instead to switch on side lights and fog lights.
The effect is a very sporty look where the low level fog lights give the impression of a rally car.
MOT Question 1439You know, it never ceases to amaze me the lengths that some people will go to in...
My arse. All that happens is that other road users are dazzled by the higher brightness. Like we don't have enough to do with not killing the very silly pedestrians who just walk out into traffic all the time, badly or illegally parked cars and enough street furniture to make a once-pleasant drive look and feel like a stunt course.
And we're not only talking chav Corsa's here, it occurs in SE London in what appears to be every type of vehicle from white van man to family MPV's. The favourite culprit is as always, the BMW driver.
Kind of a fashion statement I think, like iPods, spiky hair cuts, pashminas and those small rectangular slightly 1960's spectacles all the myopics down here all wear.
They are all selfish scum and plod won't do a damned thing about it even though it is a misuse of lamps.
