More likely to be counterproductive -- the geezer snaps to attention and stomps on the brake while he looks wildly around to see what the problem is. Better to just pull up and nudge him a bit with your bumper. Or maybe a lot.
More and more I am coming to believe that we need to be much calmer in our driving atbreastudes. For instance, I have stopped looking at my watch once I leave the house -- I have left in plenty of time to get where I'm going and knowing the time in the interim is of no value whatsoever. This is difficult, and sometimes I sneak a peek, but on the whole I am a happier person now.
-- Cheers, Bev ================================================== STRESS MANAGEMENT Picture yourself near a stream. Birds are singing in the crisp, cool mountain air. Nothing can bother you here. No one knows this secret place. You are in total seclusion from that place called the world. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity. The water is crystal clear. You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water. -- KevinT
