Sherman: There are three things I cannot accept: #1-We are all equals in this. No one has the right to say do it this way or get out. Furthermore there are other more civil ways to make the point that I was making a mistake and there is another way to do it which I was admittedly messing up.
#2-The use of obscenities. Again I don't accept this. There are lots of ways to say things, to make your points.
#3-The name calling. Some of us are smarter then others, but the name calling makes someone look very small in my eyes. And like the obscenities there are a lot better ways to make your points. No one deserves this language.

Generally speaking I happen to like you, and more importantly I respect you. You do a lot of good work in a lot of areas where we have a mutual interest. I also feel the same way about Ray Martin. I respect the research. Sherman: I was making a joke at your expense. That thread I referred to WAS funny and I honestly could not resist.

If you don't mind my honest opinion on that thread: it was two very smart guys with HUGE, SUPERSIZED EGOS. Ray was upset with your dumping on NJ, I already gave you my thoughts on that, and he wanted to get back at you.
What do I have to defend? He accuses me of having no knowledge of the medical products industry and that is wrong. I do know something about it. Furthermore if he wanted to, I am sure Becton-privatesinson has R and D, which if he is as good as he says he is would be grateful to have him.

Good grief where do I say that? But they are far from the fools and miscreants he makes them out to be. Furthermore they must be doing something right. It is not like every day there is a retaining wall or bridge collapse or buildings collapsing.
I am going to add two other things. When I first came on to MTR last year I responded to someone on the I-95 NJ gap. Ray did not like my post and in no uncertain terms let me know his feelings.
I studied his website and of course he was right in his points and I was WRONG. Because of his lecture I learned the real reason for the gap rather then my wrong supposition.
Like I told you in a previous post I like people that are smarter then me.
Secondly (and Brent is not going to like this) I think there is something wrong. Either family problems or financial or something (maybe crossing that fine line between genius and insanity). People that talk the way he does with the foul language and name calling, something is wrong.
Sherman: you do not have to call people idiots, I honestly think you are above that.
