So its true about BMW drivers! 324

what new some

You really don't seem to be getting this, so I'll explain some simple facts for you in plain and simple English.

Many more than 5% in my experience. As I said, it depends where you live. I live somewhere that normally gets several...

1. A sig "file" is something tagged on the end of every single post a person makes. It often contains a quote, or some information about them - location, cars they own, etc. Some people modify their sig depending on the group they're posting to so it's relevant to that group, whereas other people put a whole load of stuff in. It's just a brief insight into that person, that may possibly spark off conversations, just as someone wearing a souvenir t-shirt of a band's tour or music festival would do the same thing.

2. Mentioning cars owned in a sig isn't someone "shouting about what pooheaps they drive in every single post", it just does what I already mentioned in point 1.

Cue the Jokes... 326
Silk Well I do do it, and it's still no problem. There is probably some truth in that although the risk is so small I'm not inclined to worry about it too...

3. WTF's wrong with a long-standing regular poster to a group announcing a sig change. It's just another way of initiating a conversation. There's no real practical difference between saying "I bought a new Skoda", and "Sig Change", with the details of the new car in the sig. What's the problem with that?
