TBH I think all this talk about BMW drivers being in a clbutt of their own as far as discourteous driving goes is simply not true.
I have never regarded BMW's as anything but another car on the road, and as such see no pattern that their drivers conform to that is unique to them. I see just as many bad examples of driving in other makes of car . The idea that BMW drivers have a 'driving mindset' that singles them out, is plainly ridiculous IMO.
Someone started the myth, and those that promote it, are all too ready to give examples that apparently support that view. Those driving other makes of car are conveniently forgotten.
I drive a BMW. The only reason I do, is that it has RWD, and seemed to be the best choice from the very limited range of RWD cars within my budget.

The decades of driving I did before buying it about 2 years ago, were mainly in other makes of RWD cars. Do you think the way I drive has changed just because my car is now a BMW. Of course it hasn't. Why should it?
