I wouldn't necessarily agree. I'm not buttuming that the person is a bad person, I just have a duty and oath to investigate crimes, or otherwise suspicious activity. A non-emergency vehicle displaying emergency equipment would lead a reasonable person to want to know why that is happening. But yes, I know that almost everyone in this n.g. buttumes the worst from cops.
But how do you know that? I think that you're buttuming a combination of factors to mean something that it doesn't. You see cops with radar guns on the side of the road. You see LLB's daily throughout your travels. You see a cop with someone pulled over and you always buttume it's for speeding... You take all of those factors to mean that cops only do speed enforcement and that is not always true.
OT,sortabicyclist kills pedestrianWell according to the article, the collision occurred in a crosswalk. And it seems that the officer did not believe the cyclist claim that he stopped at the stop sign...
You do have a point. I wish more cops would enforce that particular law. I've ignored violations before too out of necessity. The way people drive in this country, if I stopped every violator I saw for every violation that happened I wouldn't make it a block from the office.
No, I like it just fine here in the Lone Star State. California seems a little too "hippy-ish" for me.
The only way I know of is to take an academy clbutt and become a cop. The way the laws are written are that a cop has to witness the violation for it to be presented to the court.
