So I'm driving home last night and I'm coming up to the junction where I turn left to get to my house. About 200-300 yards head is a Polo; it signals left, turns and then stops in the junction. As the road is narrow and has cars parked on one side I figure that something is coming the other way and the Polo driver is waiting for it to come past.
When I get to the junction it becomes clear that this is not the case. The Polo driver has stopped, blocking the junction to talk to the driver of a car turning right out of the junction. So I stop behind, figuring that the Polo driver will see me in the rear-view mirror signalling left and will move on. I'm clearly visible to the driver of the other car as I wait. There is also now a car signalling from the other side of the road that it wishes to turn right into the junction.
Does the other driver terminate the conversation and move off? Does she bollocks. Does the driver who is turning right out of the junction inform her friend that there's someone behind her and maybe they should stop blocking the road and left people past. Does she bollocks.
Usage of the horn ensues and finally the stupid unpleasant woman gets a clue and moves on.
You couldn't make it up.
