Speed Camera detector Question

The problem I see with databases like this is that they are primarily compiled by you and me, ie Joe Public. I have them on my PDA too and find that they are no where near as reliable as the database in my snooper s4 neo. So much so, they are turned off (just there in case I drive another motor and forget the snooper). Snooper and the others use there own team(s) to collate the locations. Each camera is stored so that it is on the correct side of the road (less false alarms when your going towards a camera on the other side) whereas on the PDA downloadable ones you dont know if its on your side or not.

Not sure if they are unique databases or they share though.

I used to have a snooper s6, sometimes it would alert of a camera the next day it wouldnt (same camera). Now have a snooper s4. This has never failed to alert of a GATSO or Specs system yet (I do 30k a year). You can add your own locations too by pressing one button so next time you pbutt that spot it remembers and alerts you. (It seems to also remember which way you were travelling too as it only goes off if your travelling in the direction you were when you stored it.

I think Road Angel is very similar

I've never got that using park when waiting on the road, during driving thing - but then...

If your going to buy one, I would suggest you stick to Snooper s4 or the road angel, as they are the market leaders.
