Ian Dalziel i dont overestimate it at all.. the posts in here use statistics (selectively) to prove their points and to rubbish of other quite commonly - i am just talking about what i see with my own eyes and i have no hidden agenda. people drive stupidly.. sometimes and not always that involves driving an an inappropriate speed which may or may not be above the speed limit. i dont pretend to have the answers to that issue - what i do KNOW is that this sometimes happens in urban areas, above the speed limit where it is clearly not appropriate. and i for one object strongly to that. until we have a better system and I have not heard any constructive ideas on that front, if people stick to they.
that is not a problem with the limit that is a problem with the stupdity of the people sticking exactly to them - and you think they are better equiped to cope with limits that require them to use their judgement?

im not entirely sure i said you did either of those things but if your driving skills are anything like your social or reasoning skills i have reason to be very afraid indeed.
