Can it be called prejudice or even bias when IT'S USUALLY RIGHT??? Traffic engineers are influenced...

Scott - Name ONE road that is located in the continental United States, and has a speed limit POSTED at the 85th percentile (within 5MPH). Good luck on that. Most are posted near the ZERO percentile point, while a few rare ones are posted as high as the 30th percentile speed (and every single one of those 30% are glued to the left lane, always). In several decades of driving in dozens of states, I haven't yet seen ONE road posted anywhere near the 85th percentile point. But I will entertain the notion that such a road might exist. So where is this fantasy road, Scott? I won't take your word for it, BTW, as if you name a road, I will know without a doubt that you are a LIAR. So you'd better be willing to post traffic studies (NOT sponsored by any government agency) to back it up, along with pictures of the actual speed limit signs and GPS coordinates of said signs. I'm serious, BTW. If this road exists, I REALLY want to know WHERE . . . in literally MILLIONS of miles of driving, I haven't found it. I generally stick pretty close to the posted speed limit. I am almost always the slowest car on the road, by far, with the vast majority of traffic breaking the speed limit by a much larger margin than I do. -Dave
