you are predictable. Does everything have to be a war to you? Do you not have any respect for anything? I butture you, you will not be dragging any member of my family through your hog wallow. I will not send you my granddaughter's birth and rest certificates, the prison ID of the car thief or the badge number of the cop. All of that, even my dead granddaughter's idenbreasty is totally irrelevant to this discussion. This discussion was not and still is not about my family's personal sorrow. This discussion was about the fact that the irresponsibility of a few cops has resulted in the rests of innocents. My granddaughter was only one of many such rests.

This is all I'll say about it to you. The incident happened in March, in Belton, SC. It was adequately written up in The Anderson Independent-Daily Mail. My granddaughter's name was Tiffany.
Of the incident, David Holland, the owner of the stolen Cadillac said, "I actually saw my car being stolen. I even ran alongside it for a while, trying to get the thief to stop. I'm not worried about the car, I'm just thinking about those kids, and those families. When I called it in to the police, I told them that I knew who took my car and where to find him. They should have just let it go, and arrested him later; I told the police dispatcher that, but evidently they didn't listen. I am so sorry for the family of that little girl."
I, and Tiffany's parents, hugged the cop at the ceremony; he asked for my forgiveness, and I gave it. But I also looked in his eyes when he admitted that he had been too eager to make an arrest. He took full blame, and of course, I tried to ease his conscience. As I said, I don't hate him: he has to live with what he helped to happen and that is punishment enough for who I know to be a good, caring man.
