I'll go along with that.
When I first moved here, I thought I'd be spending a lot of time 50 miles up the road in DC. But after driving I-95, and getting exposed to all the boneheaded driving that threatened my life unnecessarily at nearly every trip, I decided I can make do with the movies and stuff that happens in Fredericksburg. Yeah, I'd like to go crawl through the museums more than I get to now, but it just isn't worth the nut-cases I find on I-95, not even on the weekend. Of course, there's the other screwball thing about not knowing whether it's going to be 1 hour or 1 1-2 or more hours to get up the road to the destination because of all the mystery backups where the traffic just slows to a crawl for absolutely no reason. That is, no accident, nothing to gawk at - no reason at all - the traffic just slows, and sometimes extremely rapidly - be looking somewhere else when the guy in front of you jams the brakes and you're going to have a crash. Most if this has at its bottom simple driver stupidity. This place just about takes the cake.
