Iceland The First Country To Try Abandoning Gasoline 3605
Mike, here: This graph from the Mbuttachusetts Insbreastute of Technology *might* teach you something. I emphasize "might" because you have shown yourself remarkably resistant to reality. The graph comes from...

Uh yeah; right. Even the most blatant of the liars over in the DSM Laser group won't claim over 141. Most will honestly admit it's more like 118-120, tops, for the 1.8.

Who would be dumb enough to think that engine size has *anything at all* to do with cornering?

No; as long as you don't get caught and fined or suspended, the worst thing you have to fear is killing yourself and others before you ever figure out how to drive. But that's no biggie, huh?

Maybe you ought to nip over here to Manitowoc to see the utility *poles* (you hit one and spin into the next for another go-'round with immutable physics) where kids like you were 'getting air' over a little rise on South 10th St. and several died. Maybe drive the slight curve just south of town on the same street where similar kids drove into a ditch, rolled several times, and distributed their limp bodies all over the local landscape (not just dumb; *no seatbelts* dumb). How about the 18th Street viaduct where they crossed a *curbed median* to hit the bridge rail that kept them from falling into the river? Mighta' been better if they *had* fallen. It might have put out the fire that burned them all beyond recognition. These were the guys like you. I'm ignoring the girls who tend to make more mistakes of inattention and equal inexperience to yours and get themselves, their friends, and most recently, their grandmother, end.

YOU DO NOT 'TEST' ON THE STREET, YOU f***ING MORONS! Now, I'm not just a guy older than your dad who's here to lecture you. Aside from not wanting to see you die young, I am probably not like your dads at all.

I am a more knowledgeable and capable enthusiast than you are, and I know what to do and what *not* to do on the street. I am a BMW and Audi club driving instructor who has been doing this stuff for longer than you've been alive. For that matter, *my car* is older than you (BMW 535is built 7-7-87). However, this Old Fart© and his Old Car© is willing and able to teach you how not to die out there. It's called the BMW CCA Foundation Street Survivor school. It is specifically aimed at GUYS LIKE YOU. It'll cost $125-$150 for the one day school and they aren't real easy to find. The local BMW club (Badger Bimmers) doesn't have one planned right now, but WE COULD. Get your friends and their dads to think about it. It is not restricted to BMW owners. You drive *your car* (buttuming it pbuttes a rudimentary safety inspection) and you learn what *you* can do with it. We won't be doing any top speed testing, but we *will* be doing things you have no idea how to do now. Yeah; it costs more than that K&N you slapped on there last month. Ask yourself this: "How much is my collision deductible?" I'll pretty much promise you you'll save it at least once within a year after you've pbutted our course.
