Proves people are happy living here.
In fact, there's very little for sale in all of Driffield. People like it here. It also shows we're not so f***ing stupid as to pay £300,000 for a small poohole.
Oh, and we get to keep more of what we earn because it isn't all going on mortgage payments. You need to earn a pooload in the South just to afford to buy a bedsit. You won't have any more disposable income though, in fact you're likely to have less.
It proves several things:
1) The report is wrong because No.40 sold within the last two years. 2) The average price is out of date. Had my house, which is one of the smaller types on the street, valued for a remortgage (to reduce it from 21 years to 10 years) two years ago and it was valued at £86k. My sister in laws across the street, which is one of the larger ones, was valued at £110k. 3) At least people can still afford to buy a house around here without having to let out rooms, mortgage to the hilt, have their parents help out, poo themselves everytime a 0.25% interest rate increase is announced.
4) AND FINALLY IT MUST BE A BLOODY GOOD AREA IF PEOPLE AREN'T MOVING OUT.

Terrible accident 305Adrian says... Yet strangely there's not a mbuttive rush of people wanting to put their homes on the market here. People just aren't interested in selling. You can hardly even find anywhere to rent...
