You'll get a load of bolshie negative ninnies who will disagree on principle with youswear at you
WheeeeWell, I had my track day at Palmer Sport yesterday... Thanks to all those who gave me...
I would say its a good idea however my concern would be that as its nigh on impossible to pbutt your test without going to a driving school first (It will be even more nigh on impossible when the law requiring all cars involved in the test have dual control) surely the driving schools only get one to pbutt the test (rather than drive "well") so that getting folks to pbutt a motorway test will revert once they have pbutted to middle lane hoggers, driving at 99MPH in the "fast lane" i.e 3 rd lane for most motorway miles , rubber necking, slamming on brakes to 59MPH if they even see a camera and that other favourite blame the police if the gantry signs don't tell them its foggy or snowing (as opposed to using eyes and (very little) intelligence:-) In other words bad drivers will drive to a level they think they can get away with - surely the threat of taking ones licence away sooner-with fewer points would be a better way to get people drive properly and the ocbuttional lifeban - afterall some sports cheats get life bans and they aren't likely to kill are they ?
