The IAM and TripleS a reconciliation 384

PC Paul That's not really the case though.

I have never taken the view that 'I know it all...' etc. All I have done is offer comments and suggestions based on what I believe is right and reasonable, in the hope that at least some people would derive some benefit, just as I have benefitted from the contributions of others. It has never been more than that.

With particular regard to the IAM I have long felt that their approach and image could be improved, and that they would be more successful if they were to make some adjustments. I would simply like them to make some changes so that they are more successful in the future.

After having criticised the IAM from the outside for a long period I came to see that this was not right thing to do, hence my decision to join the organisation. Having joined I was quite prepared to try and follow their system, but I did expect them to accept some feedback from me in the interest of them overcoming the more negative aspects of their stance. It should not be a one way street.

PC Paul Yes, I think it would stand some clarification. What the Observer did was mention only the faults and I received no credit for any aspect of the drive. What he should have done...

Best wishes all, Dave.
