TripleS
Do you need qualifications to state your opinion on *anything*? Surely that's the point of an opinion?
But since you ask,and since it does affect the weight that should be given to 'my opinion'...
39, 22 years driving, two 'no fault' accidents - none when I was over 10mph, come to that.
About 400,000 miles now. A lot of commuting, a *lot* of country lanes. Much of it above the limit, where appropriate.
The IAM and TripleS a reconciliation 389TripleS Dave, Or is it TripleS, The Supremely Supercilious Superhero? You do talk sense sometimes, *but* all the way through this one you have shown total arrogance and frankly my opinion of...
Lots of variety of vehicles - from Bond Bugs up to 7.5 tonners, including military Landys and trucks on and off road. Cars from a Mk II 1100 Scrote with 36bhp to a couple of 200bhp RWD toys.
One scamera catch - 66mph on a very clear dry motorway, about 50m past the start of the 50mph limit approaching the Severn bridge toll plaza - i.e. with about a mile to go before the tollgates. I was off the throttle and slowing gently, as was everybody else.
As for qualifications, I haven't mentioned it before but now seems a good time, I'm working towards the RoADAR test. Four drives so far, including one with a Police Examiner in the back. Comments: 'just a couple of things to do differently and you'll do it no problem.'
Couple of things: brake to slow down (not through the gears) on approach to hazards, and get back in the habit of using a 'lifesaver' not just the mirrors.
Happy now?
