The IAM and TripleS a reconciliation 396

The evidence for me are three tests - IAM, RoADA and Driving instructor.

As I have said before, you may very well be a good driver - there are plenty out there that do a reasonable job. The problem is you criticise a system in use by many professionals, for many years. You say you can still keep your driving to a good standard, even though your unsteady on your feet with alcohol. You even say that certain parts of the Roadcraft system can be left out without having a bad effect on the driving!

It is possible to drive like a complete breast, yet be missed by everyone else.

Yes, luck plays a part for all of us - the trick is to minimise reliance on luck, and put more of it down to skill.

MrBitsy Yes fair enough Ray, you have pbutted advanced tests and I have not, but tests are...

Once learn't, it becomes very hard not to drive to the Roadcraft system.

Yes, as long as YOU remain reasonable. I have put a lot of time and effort into learning Roadcraft, including pbutting that on to others. In a few weeks I am about to start work as an ADI, and to get this far took a lot of effort. When someone like yourself starts talking about having a style that could be better than Roadcraft, I can see through it without any effort at all.

MrBitsy I was not talking about driving sloppily, I was talking about driving to a level that does not fully meet test standards at all times. I hope you are not claiming that advanced drivers...

I know why all parts of the system should be considered - you trying to tell me otherwise, JUST because your lucky enough not to have had an accident, is rather absurd. GO and pbutt it yourself THEN tell us why Roadcraft could help from your input.
