Chris Lawrence says...
For me...
NUMBER ONE: STOP RUBBERNECKING. If there was only one thing that every driver stopped doing, that'd be it. Most days, there'll be a 2-3 mile tailback caused by rubberneckers for the most trivial of things such as a car on the hard shoulder with the bonnet up.
Pulling into the 30ft between me and the vehicle in front in your mad rush for the sliproad.
Any pulling out in front of me so close that causes me to slow very quickly. Not because it's caused me to slow but because of all the aggro of getting the speed back up.
VERY IMPORTANT: Going down the inside when I need to go in the right lane to make a left turn.
Overtaking on single lane roundabouts.
Going down my inside when I'm turning right on roundabouts.
When I've moved over to L2 to allow you to join the motorway having you sit there in L1 at the side of me. I CAN'T GO ANY FASTER.
When I'm indicating I want to change lanes, sitting in L2 at a point that looks like it could be near the rear of my trailer. THIS IS INCREDIBLY ANNOYING ON A HILL CLIMB. Either speed up and pbutt or slow down.
Dithering about.
Sums it up I think. If there's anything I've missed which I experience tomorrow, I'll let you know.
