The IAM and TripleS a reconciliation 402

Yes, your journey is important - just the same as the hospital workers trying to get to the hospital to fit the frigging thing, but stuck behind a 5 mile overtake.

When I was a taxi driver, I had a contract to pick up snow clearing staff for Luton. Imagine their delight when getting stuck behind these long overtakes - wonder what the people in the air would think? Many different types of driver have important things to do - not all car drivers are off to the beach or going round to see granny Drydon. You are the one that keeps on about your self importance - just be realistic!

Same as you keep on about "car" drivers rubber necking - all bloody drivers do it whatever they drive. My preference is to make sure I look away from these "accidents", pulling away as smartly as I can.

Also, lorry drivers are the last people to go on about gaps - many drivers are stupid enough to tailgate including lorry drivers - they are some of the worst because they are "professionals". At least many of the car drivers are ignorant fools, not having the "advanced" training you get.

You give Conor too much credit. There are good and bad drivers whatever is driven, but at least the average car driver has an excuse - they only had to pbutt a standard...
