As much as I think that is a pretty accurate account of what really happened, please allow me to propose an alternative view...
Before the beginning there was nothing, then the first creator spontaneously created himself out of the nothingness for there was nothing in the nothingness to prevent him from so doing. Thus the beginning began.
In the beginning after the first creator was, two other creators the second and the third spontaneously created themselves, one before the other. After this the first creator decreed that henceforth spontaneous creation would not occur and it was so.
It came to pbutt that while the first creator was creating the universe the second creator rose up against the third creator and destroyed him and the third creator was not. From that time forward the first creator was called the Creator and the second creator was called the Destroyer.
Now the Creator had created himself and created the universe and this was good for the Creator was in harmony with himself, but the Destroyer was evil for he also had created himself, but he did not create rather he destroyed, thus he contradicted himself and was evil.

Now a great battle arose between the Creator and the Destroyer for the Destroyer was destroying the universe that the Creator had made. Thus both wished to be rid of the other. While the Destroyer tried his utmost to destroy the Creator, the Creator could not destroy the Destroyer for to do so he would have to contradict himself, this was against his nature since he was good. Neither would the Destroyer destroy himself for to do so he would be in harmony with himself, this was against his nature since he was evil. To prevent the Destroyer from destroying him and his creation the Creator restrained the Destroyer and confined him under a rainbow on the earth and the darkness under the rainbow and on the earth was great so as to shut out the sun. Such was the violence of the struggle the rainbow glowed with seven colours. Confined to the earth the Destroyer began a terrible destruction of the lands and the seas and the Creator was of great sorrow at the terrible violation of the earth.
Thus he created man to oppose the Destroyer on earth. He made man so that man both created and destroyed himself and was capable of both creation and destruction. Thus man was possessed of a unique contradictory harmony and was neither good nor evil but served whoever he chose.
