I agree we all should be allowed to make our own decisions, and its great that Adrian's friends can argue the toss. If he thinks it best to continue to develop such a situation, then good luck to him.

I once had a parking ticket slapped on my car when I was next to it, unloading baggage at the drop off point at Heathrow. The officer was not interested in the fact I was a few feet from it. When the officer walked away, one of my pbuttengers put their hand on the officers shoulder and suggested he was being silly. The officers response was to threaten arrest for buttault.

At that point I decided it wasn't prudent to continue arguing, but to taske the matter to court, which I did so. Continuing to argue with such a prat is counter productive, even if morally and lawfully right. How could it have ended - me with an buttault charge that I may lose? No, that path is not worth it. Much more sensible tio have the day in court.

Adrian's friend was not wrong, but was maybe a little stubborn and green himself to continue to argue past the point of the producer request.

Yes, it is very usefull to argue the toss on usenet, as there are lots of views to digest, experience to gain and views to adjust. Arguing the toss at the side of the road, with a policemen on a power trip, is far less usefull. -- Cessna172
