So, NOT "the name of my employer" then. It's an email address. And? Congratulations you've found my staff profile page, must have been really hard for...

That's different matter and if the they wanted to say something it probably would. But I'm not damaging the reputation of my employer. Everything that I post is my own opinion and has no connection whatsoever to my employer in any way. If someone doesn't like what I say, then they can either ignore it, killfile me or complain out in the open rather than hide behind anonymised addresses.

Perhaps. I may well be leaving myself wide open for all the little netkopps out there who have nothing better to do with their time than complain. They are the kind of people who write in to the BBC to object to the post watershed adult programming rather than simply use the channel control or off switch. It's rather sad really.

The point is that the email address is contact information, nothing more. It is provided for people who wish to take discussions outside of the public arena of newsgroups. So far nobody here who is to offended or willing to complain has bothered to send any private correspondence on the subject. I think that says far more about them.
