When I was riding bicycles, in Indianapolis where it was reasonably safe in contrast to the extremely unsafe roads around here, that's exactly what I did. Didn't seem to bother anyone, either, BTW. Just ride up to the intersection past about 10 cars waiting on the light. No problem.

Its called being smart when dealing with strangers. You never know when you're going to meet the final kook of your life...

You do seem to be working on that fairly successfully.

Pbutting him (without eye contact or anything like that) is not taken as agressive when stopped at a light, unless the person is, again, the last kook you will ever meet. But yelling at people is always taken as agressive.

Easy problem to solve in a car. Jump ahead about 100 yards, stop, get out of the car, take careful aim, and blow your butt away.

I think you live in a real kookie town, and shouldn't even think about riding a bicycle, but instead drive something that weighs at least 5000 lbs, and is therefore an effective weapon.

Again, you are living in the wrong town. Move to Indiana, someplace other than Gary, and get a concealed carry permit. There's lotsa guns that can be strapped under a persons clothes, and be there when you need it.

Well, unless he really is the last kook of your life, he's probably just gonna fume and do nothing. But again, you never know. This is why its advantageous to be driving something that weighs 2 1-2 tons.
