I was refering to your general 'fear' based idea to allow idiots to rule the roost. Are you sure you want to go through the green light? There may be someone 'with a gun' that wishes to run the red.
I suppose you haven't payed attention to the threads in here. It's also illegal in IL. And some drivers do react violently to it. They don't like being pbutted back. I know this because on a handful of occasions some driver has pbutted me rudely when I was slowing to the end of queue. I then just re-pbutted them without saying a word. The reaction generally isn't what I call pleasant.
I've had drivers try to push me off the road when I've just been stopped, waiting my turn in the queue. I never said anything to them and they had not been ahead of me at any point on the road.
Then I couldn't leave the house. The next green signal I go through might upset a red light runner 'with a gun'. Just being on the road might upset someone 'with a gun'. Even when I am faster than the car in the lane next to me, a driver might flip out and 'might have a gun'. I've had objects thrown at me from cars for no reason at all. I couldn't leave the house following your rule.
Yelling is to be heard. It's noisy out there if you haven't noticed and people are incased in steel cages. Of course if your rule was the correct one, they should immediately yield to me if it's "aggressive".
Get run over in the process. 600 feet away against a target that isn't technically trapped by traffic but can instantly turn around and use the other vehicles as cover.
Anyway, your irrational fears aside, maybe the person who does that might want to consider his intended target might be armed too and a better shot.
5gal is making me gleeful 2672Motorhead Lawyer Why are people complaining then? Gas prices are still cheap, cheap, cheap. Maybe not for the poor sucker who commutes 50 miles each way to work. But, they deserve...
Give into the 1% that are bullies? Hell no. There are just a lot of people around which means there are a lot of 1%ers. I learned not to be affraid and not to be pushed around.
I refuse to give into fear. I refuse to be pushed around. You can stay home or surround yourself with steel armor. I won't.
