I've repeatedly explained to you what 'debt is debt' means. And you keep saying I am changing the subject. That's what I meant by it. Just because you don't like what I meant by it doesn't mean I changed the subject.
Debt is Debt and it all counts against future loans. I have two properties, the amount I borrowed on the first counted against what I could borrow on the second. I have no other debt. It all counts against me should I want to borrow money for something else. But I won't have to, so it doesn't matter.
Better than having debt, all other things equal.

Wasn't my arguement. I brought it up to show that my 4 year program was so marginally arranged that even slight slip ups meant going into OT. You had to stick to the program if you wanted to be sure to get out in 4 years.
I didn't have a job in school, I lived on campus. Just the set up alone meant it couldn't be done in 3 years. They didn't generally allow for concurance or out of order either. Not that it could even really be done with clbuttes being offered once a year anyway.
Again, regardless of it being smart or stupid, debt is your monthly obligation.
