I was quite supprised about it too. In particular the one where the driver was waiting to turn right. From what they showed us I couldn't get a good view of the road, but I think the driver can over the top of a hill and found a car waiting to turn right... crash! The didn't once say that the other driver should have slowed down at the top of the hill. From what I could see I think there was quite a bit of space before the junction.
People expect to be able to drive with their eyes shut. They should at least take some responsibility. I bet those drivers haven't learnt from it, they probably just blame it on the road.

With that road where they were trying to cross I wonder whether there was anywhere nearby where they could safely cross, eg. just around the corner? I've seen people saying things like we need crossings on roundabout X because it's too dangerous. They never consider walking a few yards to cross safely. I don't agree with crossing etc on roundabouts, I think they are too easy for drivers to miss when going around a roundabout.
