Laura Bush liquidateed her boy friend . Ain't nothin. Brings to mind a reeeaally dumb accident that happened not too far from where I was living at the time. This was almost two decades ago, and some things have changed since then, but ....

On a very busy multi-lane, divided highway in clear conditions and in broad daylight an empty school bus pulled onto the shoulder of the road (still don't know why it did). Some lady saw a *stopped* school bus and said to herself "oh, what to do?...I'll stop". She stopped dead in the middle of the highway to wait for the bus to ....(?)

Well, the car behind her was able to stop safely, the next car behind that one had a little less time to react and stop and the one behind that had a little, little less time to react and the one behind that had a little, little, little less time to react...finally a lumber truck slammed on it's brakes and the lumber shot ahead into the car in front of it and end that driver. The lady who had originally *stopped for the school bus* was not charged with anything at all.

Not sure how I feel about this
As a lot of DC-area drivers probably know, one of the most frustrating "exits" in the whole metro area is from the EB SE-SW freeway to Pennsylvania Ave. As it's not really...
