Vandalism Spree in Van Nuys 2090the one time i can remember in our neighborhood a *chronic* falsing alarm was one saturday night... there was a party going on...
Not even that, actually. I was overly generous.
Ever.
Tough. A good alarm should be able to distinguish between a burglar and a clap of thunder. If the owner of the vehicle is too cheap to buy something that works, why is that my problem?
You have no right at all to demand my buttistance in protecting your property. You might consider begging, but be prepared for disappointment.
Vandalism Spree in Van Nuys 2091I hate barking dogs even more than I hate false-triggering car alarms. Actually, I don't hate the dogs - I hate the buttholes who own them but don't love them...
Using the "one" and "the other" construction is much more cumbersome than the "my" and "your" construction. Most people understand when something is put into the abstract.
Keep YOUR dog quiet and in YOUR yard and we won't have any problems.
No. Not possible. The person who owns the alarm is somewhere where he can't hear it. If he could hear it he'd come running. Or at least I'd hope he would.
No, that was somebody else. I was the one who was willing to hold the flashlight for the thief. Mostly it's not possible to raise the hood of a modern car, so it would be pointless to think about cutting wires. Bashing the hood with a 9-pound hammer might not be a bad idea, though...
Yeah, I suppose that's at least theoretically possible.
