OTOH, my mom was sold 4 tires at a outrageous price by the Caddy dealer who sold her her car. After maybe 10K miles they developed bubbles in the tread, requiring replacement. As Bridgestones they had a full-replacement warranty, but the goddam Caddy dealer refused to deal with it, telling me I should go to a Bridgestone dealer.
Which I did. Found out that the tires were mid-price and had been discontinued long before the goddam crook sold them to my mom. The 4-Day (now defunct, unfortunately) dealer gave me new tires and took care of all the paperwork for us. Not his problem, but he solved it anyway.
Anybody who buys anything from ANY Caddy dealer (don't get me started about the other Caddy dealer who forgot to replace the differential bearing he was hired to replace and the other one who got his small-business neighbors eminent-domained by our corrupt city officials so he could expand his storage area) is enriching a crook.
OTOH, I've got nothing but praise for the America's Tire people.
Record # of idiotsI saw so many today I'll probably forget a few. Trip to Spokane. 1. Jammed up traffic in city...
