What exactly is "left lane blocking" 4030

How do I handle it? By speeding up and completing my pbutt, of course.

And I don't wait until the faster traffic is riding my bumper and flashing his lights at me, either - I judge his closing speed, anticipate the situation, and avoid blocking him entirely. By the time he catches up to me, I'm already in the right lane.

No doubt that provided you with all the smug justification you needed for blocking him earlier...

If you would only pbutt properly, this would never happen to you. Proper pbutting includes a prompt return to the right lane when your pbutt is complete. Not 30 seconds after your pbutt is complete, but IMMEDIATELY. And try signalling your intention to return to the right lane as soon as your front bumper is even with the front bumper of the vehicle you are pbutting. This removes all the ambiguity from the situation, and completely eliminates people who will attempt to pbutt you on the right in the belief that you do not intend to return to the right lane.

Negative balances in your Road Karma bank account carry some hefty overdraft penalties. Sounds to me like you are reaping what you have sewn. ;)

You just said you did in paragraph 1 at the top of this post.
