Define slower traffic. I'll guarantee that I am always slower traffic than some, and faster traffic than many others. It seems to me that many of the LLB, STKR, and KREP fanatics in this group really want to enforce the GTHOOMWBIbutt rule (get the hell out of my way because I am so special rule).
I repeatedly see people in this group complain about the incompetence of other drivers - until it comes time to decide on a speed limit. Suddenly all (well 85%) of the idiots out there become competent to determine the speed limits. You want people to KREP, STKR, signal properly, etc., etc., while they completely ignore the speed limits. Real consistent. If people aren't willing to abide by the speed limits, why do you expect them to abide by KREP and STKR rules? If the police don't (and according to many shouldn't) enforce the speed limits, why should they start enforcing KREP and STKR rules? It seems to me that when it comes to speed, many of the LLB fanatics want the rule of the jungle to prevail, except they want the police to clear them a path by enforcing KREP and STKR rules. If you support disrespecting some rules, don't be surprised when the rules you support are disrespected as well. Courtesy breeds courtesy. Contempt breeds contempt.
