Of course you are - you're suggesting that slower cars are somehow hazardous, or unable to fufill some basic aspect of automotive transport.

My point is to EXPAND choices to include vehicles that are capable of the task at hand.

Oh, yes - I'm sure we can make up all kinds of fanciful scenarios that happen precisely never to justify our choices. Gosh, a tree might fall in front and behind my car - better carry a 3-foot bar chainsaw in my trunk, *just in case.*

poo happens, and you figure out a way to get out of it. Funny, I never had any problems driving around in low power:weight vehicles. Hell, I even pulled out and pbutted on occasion. The simple fact is that high power:weight is NOT REQUIRED to get around *anywhere* on paved roads in the U.S.

Surely I am not so super-send that I'm the only one to be able to pilot these vehicles successfully in traffic.

You were attempting originally to make a statement of fact. Glad to see you're now furously backpeddling to a "prediction" after being called on it. Even then, you have absolutely no clue what the pay-off point will be.
