The law of unintended consequences strikes again. The dead vehicle in question would have been happily occupying someone's yard had the government not interfered in the owner's plans. (This is always a sore point with me... I will never, ever move into someplace with a homeowner's buttociation, since that is just another level of government, while I find the 3 levels I have to deal with already to be entirely too much.) Let people park their motorhomes on their property, keep unlicensed vehicles in the yard, etc. etc. This is supposed to be the "Land of the Free", and nonsense that says you can't have this or that on your property, or do this or that on your property, is not freedom to me. BTW, property value worriers can relax - I'm at the end of a dead-end country road with some not-so-pretty properties that have, in some cases, been junked-up with unsightly trailers, etc. My property value has just more than doubled in the last 4 years, according to the buttessment I just got, will probably continue to climb. You don't have to live in a palace, or among palaces, to realize some hefty profit from simply being in the right place at the right time.
