1-"Why does anyone have to defend Bush? Everyone except the LibDem Bush haters can see it was a great response considering the magnitude of the disaster."
Ask the people on this newsgroup who ARE defending him, e.g., the person to whom my post was directed.
2-"Liberals love misery. If some one is miserable the will always try to make the person feel more miserable"
Yeah, you got us. We love misery - how did you know? I need to start making a list of my beliefs, just to keep track. Let's see...I love misery, I hate America...well, more will come to me soon, and i'll record it, lest I forget again.
3-"That is the Liberal way of looking at things. Not all people think like that. You will find out soon."
oohhhh...ominous! Anyway, what do YOU see as the common denominator(s) of all of Bush's decisions? We know they're not based on conscientious consideration of input from all relevant parties. It's not religious-based (many of his decisions fit this, but I can't see how the total disregard for the environment fits in). He's obviously ideological, but what's his ideology?
I, personally, would admit that Clinton used the first strategy, with political ramifications and image, and wanting to please everyone being factors as well.
