There is nothing whatsoever wrong with that. It was doing what had to be done to make the road safe. I'm sure you would be talking out of the other side of your mouth if she had left the car in the road and it would have been hit by your wife or your kid and they were end. You have no concept of relative risk here - the act of pushing a car is nowhere nearly as dangerous as leaving a car dead in the roadway.

No, they weren't. First, it wasn't "they" it was "one" drunk woman - the driver, and she didn't get it that way, it simply quit. She didn't do anything to make it quit - it just happened.
