Women Busted for DUI For Pushing Car 1866Yep. There's extremely little chance of any serious damage. Just your opinion. At 12:23 in the morning you just happen to be standing in this particular motel parking lot and are so dense and preoccupied...
What it bears on is your inconsistency, then, as you cannot give the pbuttenger any legal or moral option once the engine quits. Remember, up until the engine quit, the pbuttenger has broken no laws.
Sure - you fail to state how you want it, knowing that saying you would like them to leave the car in the road to be hit and possibly killing some innocent third party would make you look like an butt, maybe a bigger one than advocating that the pbuttenger be given a year license suspension and a year in jail for the simple act of steering a car who's engine isn't running and possibly saving the life of a 3rd party.
You just have a punitive nature - you look to see if we can construe this or that law so we can nail these people whom you apparantly do not like - there's not much other explanation for feeling the way you do about their fate. Nobody's that hard-over on enforcing the lettter of the law against someone else unless they just don't like them. Hell, my brother was end by a drunk driver, and I hate drunk drivers, but this pbuttenger was not doing anything I would hate her for.
So, what if I don't like you, and you get nailed for 5 mph over the speed limit, and it so happens that in the area where you do this, any speeding violation is punishable by 6 months in jail and a $5000 fine. How would you feel about me if I advocated that sort of punishment for you? Would you be puzzled, and pretty sure I hated your guts for some reason? Sure you would.
