BOTH OF THE WOMEN WERE IN CONTROL OF AND OPERATING THE VEHICLE AT TWO DIFFERENT TIMES. THEY ACTUALLY ADMITTED THIS TO A POLICE OFFICER. ONE OF THEM WAS IN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HIT SOMETHING ELSE. THEY ARE GUILTY. HOW MUCH MORE f***ING CLEAR DO YOU NEED THIS MADE FOR YOU, YOU BLITHERING IDIOT?
It is very right, because she shouldn't have been operating a vehicle. In the case of the pbuttenger it's somewhat sad, but hey, she chose to get into the vehicle while a drunk was driving it, and she also chose to get behind the wheel while drunk even if according to you she was doing the "right" thing. There were a whole lot of bad decisions made and the fact that at the very end of this long chain of events doing the "right" thing involved doing something illegal is maybe sad, but doesn't excuse a damned thing.
