Okay, maybe my math is wrong, but 75 - 8.5 = 66.5 last time I checked. That's $66.5 per man hour the dealership has after paying each man for his time. They will spend that money on a lot of things, including machinery (lifts, machinery, insurance, utilities, etc.).
The diagnostic machinery operates itself? Oh, and yes techcnicians do buy nearly all their own tools and equipment. The dealership provides very little for him to work with. He tells me often about how he has to improvise to no end because the proper tool for a job is not available since the dealership is too cheap to buy it.

Ha, I'm anything but a liberal. I hate the liberal way that seems to dominate America these days. It's disgusting how no one takes responsibility for themselves. I'm simply stating what is likely the case at the dealership. People are greedy and would rather give themselves more money than not take a raise but pay their employees enough to live on.

Okay, well perhaps you should elaborate on what that is. Hell, I make a good bit more than him and I haven't even graduated yet. I've never in my life worked for as little as he makes now.
