Quick answers from the top of your head... When's St George's day? What's the second line of the third verse of the National Anthem?
Excuse me? Exactly who was "cheated"? The England team played badly and lost. That is, surely, not quite the usual definition of "cheating" - unless, of course, you believe we have some divine right to win...?
I'd have said that the usual definition of cheating was probably closer to that exhibited by kicking an opposing player whilst you lie on the floor (Beckham, IIRC, last WC) or kicking one opposing player in the groin then pushing another in the chest (Rooney, in case you'd forgotten).
I got on with life, because I'm really don't much care about any of those three "sports".
Would that be the same Radio 4 that cancels the normal schedule on half of it's transmission capacity to devote it to every single ball of every single test match England play in?
Still - could be worse. It could be Radio 1 spending your licence fee on playing music made by Johnny Foreigner and which just glorifies gun crime, drugs and prosbreastution, right?
No, I can see no mention of women or children in that statement.
Would those women and children also be offended by gratuitous use of the words "****s", "****s" and "mother f***er"?
