As a driver I have had my car damaged by a cyclist who refused to pay for the damage he had caused. He ran into my parked car which was in a reserved parking space, and tried to claim for personal injury and damage to his bicycle. A court laughed at him, made an award against him which he then refused to pay and got away with it because my solicitor discovered he had no buttets to claim against.
Wigan to TenbyActually, for what it specialises in, the hospital is poo hot. Second best in the country, and the best is the...
As a pedestrian I have been run down by a cyclist who fractured my skull.
As a driver I have never been in a collision or even a near miss with either cyclist or pedestrian. Nor as a cyclist.
As a cyclist I have insurance, get my cycle insured and I don't ride on the footpath. As far as I can see that puts me into a tiny minority, and I'm sick to the back teeth of aggressive pavement cyclists who think it's funny to cross red lights, run down pedestrians and to launch onto the footpath to press the buttons at pelican crossings then to cycle across the crossing. And of course to proceed the wrong way on one way streets, to ignore "no cycling" signs, to abuse people in public parks and to force pedestrians out of the way on narrow bridges.
