In the Year before Clinton left office, total government borrowing including the SS Surplus was $14 billion.

Today under Bush, it's $600 billion, and in addition the American Economy borrows another $640 billion.

Yup. Clinton moved to a regime where long term debt held by foreigners was largely replaced by short term debt held by Americans.

As a result the interest on that debt stays in America rather than going to China and Japan.

The Republican plan called for no increase in the SS Surplus and no converstion of long term bonds to short term bonds, and hence the movement of tens of billions more in American Capital to Japan and China.

Saving money = Spending money.

Stupid... Stupid.. White...

SS starts sending out more money than it takes in. It calls in the 'loan'. Trouble is, the rest of government is spending more money than...

Clinton's arrival and masterful movement out of recession contrasts nicely to Bush Jr's tact of pushing the U.S. economy into recession in order to pbutt his tax cuts for the most wealthy Americans.

Yup. Clearly.

Undoubtedly Gore would have stayed out of Iraq, and most probably Afghanistan as well, in addition Gore would have avoided Bush's tax cut folly which is the primary reason for the explosion of U.S. debt. Almost to the penny.

Yup. Spent like the money behind every other bond issued by the U.S. government or corporation.

Do you think you have a point?

Those mean no more economy. Easier to just say no more SS. Depends on the goals of those on-high. Nothing like a open minded liberal. BTW, could you learn to...

Clearly you feel that in the future you will need to.

When do you expect the U.S. economic disaster to hit? 5 years? 10 years?

Oh please..... We have it from the top... "Deficits don't matter. Reagan proved that." - privates Cheney

If the current VP says it, it must be true. Right C.E. White? He wouldn't be lying would he?

Snicker......

So long suckers.....
