They do a damn site less than that up Rhuallt hill, or the hill on the A55 from Chester to Broughton.
On more than one occasion, when driving home on a Friday night, seen 6 miles of stationary traffic caused by a crane being unable to keep up a good speed, which causes traffic to bunch up behind it.

It's *very* bad news when 2 leave the same place about 10 minutes apart, because you then have one on the hill before the little chef, which means the 5 mile queue from there catches up with the one at Broughton, which means the traffic heading into Wales can back up for huge distances.
It's the "same" with wide loads (the 2 lanes wide ones) which seem to be scheduled (due to the Police escorts being busy at other times) at rush hours.
People say roads are congested, and things should be done. My vote would be for appropriate travelling at appropriate times. When the roads are hideously busy, *don't* schedule vehicles which will make it even worse. Do it 2 hours earlier or 2 hours later.
The traffic (weekenders) is known to be heavy. Without slow moving vehicles, the A55 can just about cope. Add a very slow moving vehicle every few miles, and the whole thing falls over.
I'm sure they were. I don't object (that much!) to being stuck behind tractors etc, I was just voicing my opinions of who I'd rather be stuck behind.
girly truck driver 135Ian Johnston What can you POSSIBLY imagine you have gained by snipping out the context for my (very reasonable) statement? Is your position THAT weak...
