middle lane hoggers

Them low life traffic wardens
There are two sides to this arguement. On one hand, Britain seems to have a "It's convenient for me to park here, so I will" mentality, which probably goes hand in hand with...

I saw a really selfish-stupid middle lane hogger today, on the M2 (3 lane section between Junctions 3 and 4 coastbound). Much snow in the area, and although lanes 1 and 2 were fairly clear (ie snow melted), lane 3 had a fairly light covering of snow and some tire tracks, but not what you'd want to drive on unless you had to.

Myself and 2 cars in front come up in lane 2, having overtaken a lorry, and there is a black ford KA pootling along in lane 2, with nothing ahead of it in either lane 1 or 2, and nothing its left in lane 1 either... do they move over ? No, they stay there, so, rather than risk overtaking, the other two cars, followed by myself at a safe distance pull into the snow covered lane 3 to overtake... then move back.... I apologise for not noticing the age or love of the driver, I was concentrating on the road.... As I recakk the KA was doing about 30-40 and I overtook him at about 45-50.

To be fair, most-all the other drivers I came across were driving sensibly,

As for 4x4s, I ended up behind a few this afternoon once the snow had melted, and they, along with people carriers sure kick up a heck of a lot of spray, compared to cars.
