no blame

No, really, they can be.

No, they can be wrong as in they forecast the weather incorrectly.

It may not be sensible but it is legal in good visibility (see HC93). The Vehicle Lighting Regulations 1989 say, 'Requirements about the use...

Only the other week they were forecasting snow which never happened, and rain which was snow. Yes it's a difficult thing to forecast -- that's my point, they DO get it wrong.

This is just another example of how you can read someone saying one thing "the weather forecast was wrong", which is entirely possible, then with no evidence buttume they were wrong, and start attacking them.

So now you're telling people that the weather forecast is always right, even when it's wrong?

You've obviously got your eyes closed then. Haven't you read the 20 page threads on the weather outlook, complete with people ranting about how the UKMO, GFS, DWD models (and the others) have suddenly changed their minds about what's going to happen in 96 hours. Or 72. Or 48. Or 24. Or 12. It's happened before, and will happen again. Perhaps it doesn't happen too frequently at 12 hours these days, but certainly even today the GFS isn't too sure what's going to be happening in 24 hours -5C upper air with rain (possibly snow on hills) or 0C upper air with no rain? Who knows.
