northern drivers....the worst 5274

Anyone who relies on the say-so of another driver that it is safe to overtake seriously needs their head looking at. Not only that but the say-so is a signal that means you're pulling over or turning left.

Oh yes, you're really safe and "professional" aren't you.

If you say so, you must be right, you always are. Others think differently.

Yes, how very observant of you.

Indeed, a saw a motorcyclist end by a fool who beckoned her out of a junction. Sadly the fool was only indicating that he had stopped to let her out, he took...

Amazing. You worked that out all on your own? Now point to any part of roadcraft that directly contradicts what is in HC. Your made up meanings for signals do precisely that and as such are inherently dangerous.

Ooh, there's a surprise.

Well, if they are happy to trust their lives and those of their pbuttengers to the say-so of someone who's signals could mean any one of many things then more fool them. I only hope that they never meet someone coming the other way.

How does the driver behind who clearly wants to overtake tell the difference between a signal that means "it's clear, you can pbutt" and one that means "I am pulling over and stopping on the left"? Only a total dribbling moron would accept the former.
