Quite often in the truck, on the limiter, in lane 1, traffic merges from the left and I usually pull out into the middle lane as a courtesy even though I am not required to. Quite frequently a brain dead centre lane cruiser will refuse to move into the empty third lane until the close proximity of Scania Vabis causes a re think (occasionally accompanied by horn blowing and-or flashing of lights plus much wailing and gnashing of teeth) another favourite trick is, after spotting my indicator, to accelerate and close close to the car in front of them thus blocking my pbuttage into the middle lane rather than pull into the third lane or maintaining their speed (can't have a 'lorry' getting in front we are far too important for that). Result, I have to loose momentum. Sometimes the one entering from the slip road carries on entering oblivious that they are on collision with 44 tonnes of reefer lorry and with centre lane hog on my outside I have two choices either slow down or make either of the car drivers day a little more exciting. I don't like slowing down for inconsiderate bastards it takes a lot of energy to get to limiter speed and once there for the sake of fuel economy alone I try to maintain it.
